Return Policy

1. Containers & Custom Sauna Work

Refunds are available only until the contract of work has been signed and construction has begun. Once the contract is signed and work begins, all payments are non-refundable. Seller may suspend work or terminate this Agreement in the event of nonpayment or material breach.

These terms apply only to Woods & Water container saunas and custom sauna work, not to Almost Heaven barrel kits or Harvia products. The cancellation window is based on signing and construction status, rather than a fixed number of days after delivery. Completed container and custom saunas are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges.

Email your cancellation request as soon as possible using the contact information below. Include your name, order or agreement number, and project details so we can confirm the signing and construction status. Warranty claims and mandatory consumer rights are separate from a change-of-mind cancellation.

2. Almost Heaven Barrel Kit Returns

For Almost Heaven barrel kits bought from us, we match Almost Heaven’s published return conditions: return unopened products within 30 days of receipt, in their original packaging. Assembled units are not returnable. Returned items must be complete and in good condition, verified by inspection.

A 25% restocking fee applies. Both the original shipping charge and return shipping cost are deducted from the refund. This applies to eligible change-of-mind returns; damage, incorrect goods, and warranty issues are handled separately below.

Contact Woods & Water before sending anything back so we can coordinate the return authorization, destination, and freight arrangements. The return must meet the 30-day window; contact us early enough to arrange shipment. Do not send freight to our business address without return instructions. 3. Harvia Stoves With Barrel Orders

Harvia stoves are covered by their own applicable manufacturer warranty, not Woods & Water’s two-year workmanship warranty. An unopened heater included in an eligible complete Almost Heaven barrel-kit return must be returned with that kit under Section 2. Installed or used heaters do not qualify as unopened change-of-mind returns.

For a heater defect or an individual heater replacement, contact us with the model, serial number, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue. We will help route the claim to the applicable manufacturer. Review Harvia’s warranty terms, Harvia support, and Almost Heaven’s warranty information for supplied heaters. A warranty repair or replacement is separate from a voluntary return.

4. Damage, Incorrect Items & Warranty Claims

Inspect deliveries and photograph visible damage, packaging, and labels. Report missing, incorrect, or damaged items promptly to us, and keep the packaging while the issue is reviewed. Do not install visibly damaged components. Follow any reporting deadlines in the applicable carrier or manufacturer documentation.

Almost Heaven barrel structures and Harvia stoves have their own manufacturer warranties. Woods & Water’s limited two-year workmanship warranty applies only to containers and custom sauna work, with the exclusions stated in our Terms & Conditions.

Contact us before arranging freight or repairs. The appropriate remedy and any transport arrangements depend on the defect, warranty coverage, and applicable law. The change-of-mind restocking conditions do not remove rights for faulty or misdescribed goods.

5. How to Request a Return or Refund

Email evan@woodsandwatersauna.com with the subject “Return or Refund Request.” Include your name, order number, product/model, delivery date, reason for the request, and photos when reporting an issue. You can also call 218-390-9198.

We will review the request against the policy for your product and provide the next steps. Authorized physical returns are sent by the freight or shipping method coordinated in your return instructions. Retain shipping records. Our listed business address is a contact address and is not an automatic return destination.

An exchange requires the same eligibility review as a return. For Almost Heaven change-of-mind exchanges, arrange an eligible return and a separate replacement purchase. Repairs or replacements under a manufacturer warranty follow that manufacturer’s process.

6. Refund Method, Timing & Deductions

Once a refund is approved and any required return inspection is complete, Woods & Water will issue the approved amount to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit. If the original payment method cannot receive the refund, contact us to arrange an appropriate alternative.

For eligible Almost Heaven barrel-kit returns, the refund is reduced by the 25% restocking fee and both original and return freight charges described above. For eligible container/custom cancellations, the refund is determined under the existing cancellation terms in Section 1 and the signed purchase agreement; this policy adds no new restocking fee to that work.

If a manufacturer processes a claim or payment directly, its own processing procedure applies. If you have not received a refund after the stated processing period, contact us with your order and approval details.

7. Your Rights & Contact

Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory consumer right, a valid warranty remedy, or a refund or cancellation required by applicable law. The separate Terms & Conditions contain additional product and project terms; the Privacy Policy explains information handling.
