1. Warranties — Containers & Custom Saunas

Third-party components, including sauna heaters manufactured by Harvia, are subject solely to the manufacturer’s warranty. Seller provides a limited two (2) year workmanship warranty covering defects under normal commercial use. This warranty excludes normal wear, wood movement, environmental exposure, improper installation, misuse, condensation-related corrosion, or failure to follow operating instructions. Seller’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid under this Agreement.

2. Timeline and Delays

Production and delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Seller shall not be liable for delays caused by supply chain disruptions, transportation issues, force majeure events, weather, or third-party contractors. Delays resulting from Purchaser actions—including permitting, site readiness, inspections, or utility setup—may extend project timelines without penalty to Seller.

3. Change Orders

Any modification or deviation from the agreed specifications must be documented in a written Change Order signed by both parties. Changes may result in additional costs and timeline extensions. Seller is not obligated to proceed with requested modifications until written approval and any required additional payment have been received.

4. Fire Safety and Operational Liability

Purchaser acknowledges that sauna systems involve high heat and electrical or combustion components. Purchaser assumes full responsibility for proper installation, code compliance, safe operation, required inspections, and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage. Seller shall not be liable for fire damage, personal injury, property damage, or business interruption arising from installation, operation, or maintenance of the sauna unit.

5. ADA and Code Compliance

Unless expressly agreed to in writing, Seller does not guarantee compliance with ADA requirements, accessibility standards, or local building and zoning codes. Purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring the sauna’s placement, use, and operation comply with all applicable regulations and permitting requirements.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, renderings, CAD files, construction methods, and proprietary elements remain the intellectual property of Woods & Water Sauna Co., LLC. Purchaser may use the purchased unit for commercial operation but may not replicate, manufacture, distribute, or reverse engineer Seller’s designs without written consent.

7. Refunds & Cancellations — Containers & Custom Saunas

Refunds are available only until the contract of work has been signed and construction has begun. Once the contract is signed and work begins, all payments are non-refundable. Seller may suspend work or terminate this Agreement in the event of nonpayment or material breach.

8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. The parties agree to attempt mediation prior to litigation. Any unresolved disputes shall be brought in the appropriate court located in Minnesota, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

9. Limitation of Liability

Seller shall not be liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including loss of revenue or business interruption. Seller’s total aggregate liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total purchase price paid by Purchaser.

10. Almost Heaven Barrel Saunas

Almost Heaven provides a limited lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects in sauna-room components for the original owner; it is not transferable. Weathering, ordinary wear, incorrect assembly/use, and weather damage are excluded. Its published coverage is limited to the contiguous United States. See the complete Almost Heaven warranty.

Almost Heaven barrel returns follow the separate Return Policy. Woods & Water’s construction-start cancellation restriction and two-year workmanship warranty do not apply to these products.

11. Harvia Stoves Supplied With Barrels

Harvia stoves and controls have manufacturer coverage, separate from the barrel structure. Almost Heaven’s published package warranty lists one year for heater coils and five years for other heating components. It excludes improper electrical work, incorrect stone placement, failure to follow instructions, ordinary wear, certain corrosion, and electrician expenses.

Harvia also publishes general warranty terms: two years for family-use heaters, with an additional year for qualifying electric heaters registered within 30 days. Commercial coverage differs. These general terms and Almost Heaven’s package coverage are distinct; the manufacturer’s warranty supplied for your specific heater, use, and purchase channel determines coverage. Contact us with your model and receipt for assistance, or use Harvia support. These manufacturer warranties do not create a Woods & Water workmanship warranty for Almost Heaven or Harvia products.

12. Orders, Pricing & Delivery

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless expressly indicated otherwise. The selected model, options, and the checkout or written quote determine the price. Shipping depends on the model, destination, and current freight rates. Applicable taxes, freight, and separately quoted installation or site work are identified in the checkout or written order documents; do not assume they are included in a displayed starting price.

For container and custom work, the signed purchase agreement sets the scope, payment schedule, delivery arrangements, and any included installation services. Production and delivery estimates are addressed in Section 2. For Almost Heaven barrel orders, review the product details and Almost Heaven shipping guidance; contact us before ordering if your destination or unloading access requires special arrangements.

A quote request does not place an order. Online purchases are processed through Shopify; available payment methods and the amount payable are shown during checkout. Keep your order confirmation and any signed agreement.

13. Consumer Rights & Related Policies

The limitations, exclusions, and non-refundable-payment provisions on this page apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights relating to faulty goods, misdescription, non-delivery, or any cancellation or refund right that cannot lawfully be waived. Manufacturer warranties are additional to any mandatory consumer rights.
